Tan-Tan Men
Frozen Tan-Tan Men is back: spicy minced pork, bok choy, green onion and chili threads over wavy noodles.
You asked for it back, so here it is. The recipe is basically the same as the frozen Tan-Tan Men we sold in 2020 and 2021. The minced pork is our own niku-miso, the same one we serve on the Spicy Taiwanese Mazesoba at our Toronto restaurant. It comes out of the bag in one frozen piece: noodles and toppings on a disc of frozen soup. The soup is made with pork, chicken and fish, plus sesame, miso and chili, so it has a nutty sesame aroma and a little heat.
No water to add and no thawing: cook it from frozen in a saucepan for about seven minutes. For the microwave, see How to Cook Frozen Ramen. Keep frozen at −18 °C or below, and do not refreeze once thawed.
Taste profile: sesame-forward, savoury, and mildly spicy.
Allergens: Sesame, Fish, Wheat, Soybean. Also contains: Garlic, Pork, Chicken. Always check the label on the pack for allergen information.
Limited to 200 bowls. Once they sell out, this run ends.
